Congratulations on taking GOLD! 

This past Saturday on June 9th, the U19 Tavistock Athletics Yantzi team participated in the Cambridge fastpitch tournament, playing four tough games and pushing through to go undefeated in the tournament and winning it all. The first two games the girls won with ease, the third game turned out to be more challenging playing against the Saugeen Swat team, the game ended in a 7-7 tie. The girls faced Saugeen again in the finals.The Tavi team had a rough road to climb as they allowed 6 runs in the first inning. but the team rallied back in the 4th pulling ahead of Sugeen. With the bats going and good defence we were able to hold Saugeen to win the gold!!
